THE
GREATEST COMMAND:
Love the Lord your
God with all of your heart, all of your soul, and all of your mind.
That is, ALL of yourself... so there is nothing left.
Who is your God?
Who or what do you pursue with all of your being?
Mike Lundborg is
principal and owner of Lundborg Design Group. He was raised in Edina,
Minnesota and graduated from Edina High School in 1982. As a graduate
student at Bethel College, Mike began his career as an intern for a
small print communication firm, Carbil Communications, located in Roseville.
Here he learned some valuable marketing techniques as well as the fundamentals
of “how to put ink on paper”.
In 1986, Mike saw
“desktop publishing” as a revolutionary new tool, capable of aiding
businesses in their marketing, design, and production efforts. After
a very short stint as a full-time Account Executive with Carbil, Mike
set-out to establish one of the Twin Cities first Digital Design Studios.
As an early pioneer
in the DP industry -- along with many late hours reading computer manuals,
moving inits in-and-out of system folders, and listening to that awful
chime as the tiny Mac restarted for the umpteenth time (in a hour) --
Mike has extensive experience designing and creating digital files.
He has brought thousands of pages from napkins to computer
screens, laser proofs to final film, metal plates to printed pages.
There is no substitute for raw experience!
Mike experienced
the growth of an entire industry first hand. He is doing it all over
again with the emergence of the Internet. Not missing the “desktop
publishing boat” as it sailed for the first time in the eighties,
he was not about to miss the “Internet boat” in the nineties
either. Any technology that aids his customers, is a technology he will
embrace.
Mike and his wife
of over twenty years, Stephanie, currently live in New Brighton with
their four children. When not in the office, Mike is usually hanging with his kids,
playing hockey, racquetball, or one of his guitars. When the weather is nice, both of them are most likely out on the open road
for another motorcycle ride with a local HOG Chapter representing Black Sheep: Harley-Davidsons for Christ!
Mike does literally
work hard, and play hard. He would like to work hard for you... and
then play hard with you!
